Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okunneye, has responded to a letter from prominent lawyer Femi Falana and his son, musician Falz, demanding an apology over alleged defamatory comments.
The letter, which was first reported by Glamcityz.com, gave Bobrisky a 12-hour deadline to apologize for remarks made in audio recordings shared by social media activist VeryDarkMan, with the threat of legal action if ignored.
In a response posted on Instagram, Bobrisky denied the defamation claims and dismissed allegations that he had bribed the Senior Advocate of Nigeria for a presidential pardon.
He stated that he would not address the issue publicly any further, leaving the legal matters to his lawyer.
Bobrisky also distanced himself from the controversial recordings, asserting that the person who shared the content should be held responsible.
