Popular Nigerian Afrobeats artist Runtown has pushed back the release date of his new album, Soundgod Fest IV. The album was supposed to come out on June 13, but it will now be released on June 27.
Runtown shared the news on Instagram on Monday, June 16. He posted a short video and the album cover, writing, “Moved the drop to the 27th of June to make sure it’s absolutely fire for you guys. He explained that the delay is to make the album even better for his fans.
Soundgod Fest IV is Runtown’s big return after taking a break following his last album Signs in 2022. He has already dropped two songs from the album, “Flow” in December 2024 and “Do Me” in April 2025.
He also released a new song with Kizz Daniel called “Peace I Chose” on June 5, which has added to the excitement. Fans can now presave the album using the link on Runtown’s Instagram page as they wait for the official release.
