Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi gave us a wedding look that went beyond fashion. It was about love, family, and keeping memories alive. For their third traditional wedding outfit, they chose Lisa Folawiyo Studio to create something truly special.
This outfit was more than clothes. It was a heartfelt tribute to Mr Eazi’s late mother, Ifeoma Ajibade. Before she passed in February, she shared photos of how she wanted her heritage to be celebrated at their wedding. That wish became the inspiration behind Temi and Mr Eazi’s look, and the result was both stunning and emotional.
Temi’s outfit was made with Akwaocha fabric from Delta state, decorated with hand-beading and fringes that took over 200 hours to complete. Every detail showed the love and hard work put into it. Lisa Folawiyo, who has dressed Temi since the start of her career, brought the idea to life in the most beautiful way. It felt like a full-circle moment filled with respect and meaning.
Mr Eazi stood by her side in a simple, elegant outfit designed with subtle touches that made it unique while letting Temi’s dress shine.
The most touching moment came when Temi shared how they felt Mommy Ifeoma’s presence throughout the celebration. She wrote,

@lisafolawiyo_studio was one of the first designers to dress me when I first started my career and we’ve had so many iconic moments since then, so it was only right for her to design the most sentimental look of the night. Before she passed this February, my most incredible mother in law sent photos of exactly how to honour her heritage on our wedding day, and @lisafolawiyo immortalized her vision so beautifully. Made from Akwaocha fabric and with over 200 hours of work in the atelier for embellishment, thank you for making me the first ever Lisa Folawiyo Traditional Bride. We 🧡 You Mommy Ifeoma Ajibade and felt your presence throughout the day.
