The Miss Nigeria Organisation has officially announced the launch of the Miss Nigeria Beauty and Fashion Fair, scheduled for March 22 and 23, 2026, at the iconic Eko Hotel. Far beyond a two-day showcase, the fair signals the official opening of the Miss Nigeria 2026 season — a year-long journey themed “She is Made of More.”
Miss Nigeria has always represented more than beauty. Over the decades, the platform has consistently elevated women who have gone on to lead, build, and influence across business, medicine, fashion, the arts, and social advocacy. The “She is Made of More” campaign reinforces that legacy, spotlighting women whose impact extends well beyond the runway while inspiring a new generation to embrace purpose, confidence, and depth.
This year’s edition also pays homage to heritage and craftsmanship. In a meaningful collaboration, the Beauty and Fashion Fair will run alongside the prestigious Daily Times Young Designer of the Year competition — a respected platform that has helped shape some of Nigeria’s most influential fashion figures, including Folorunsho Alakija. The partnership brings together beauty, fashion, and enterprise, creating space for young designers, creatives, and entrepreneurs to be discovered, supported, and celebrated.
Speaking on the launch, Chairman of the Miss Nigeria Organisation, Rita Dominic, described the fair as more than an event:
“We are thrilled to kick off the Miss Nigeria 2026 season with the Beauty and Fashion Fair. This event is more than just a celebration of beauty and fashion; it is a testament to the strength, resilience, and boundless potential of Nigerians, both men and women. Through the Miss Nigeria 2026 ‘She is Made of More’ campaign and the subsequent ‘Nigerians are Made of More’ campaign, we are not just crowning a queen; we are empowering a generation of leaders who will shape the future of our nation and the world.”

As Nigeria’s oldest beauty pageant, Miss Nigeria has evolved into a cultural institution — one rooted in heritage, values, and opportunity. The Beauty and Fashion Fair continues this tradition, offering a vibrant meeting point where emerging brands meet industry leaders, and stories of ambition, creativity, and purpose take center stage.
For young designers, aspiring queens, and anyone curious about where Nigerian fashion and leadership are headed next, this is where the 2026 journey begins. Registration details and participation updates are available via the official Miss Nigeria social media platforms.
