Fresh from their fairy-tale wedding celebrations, Tanzanian artist Juma Jux and Nigerian socialite Priscilla Ojo gave a dramatic first outing together at the 2025 Trace Awards, hosted at Zanzibar’s The Mora resort. It was their red-carpet debut as a married couple, and they did not hold back.

Priscilla, the daughter of renowned actress Iyabo Ojo, wowed onlookers in a pearl-encrusted sheer-gown draped gown, complemented by simple accessories. Her outfit radiated sophistication and elegance, which complemented the tropical beauty of Zanzibar.
Juma Jux, whose style is as smooth as silk, complemented his bride’s sophistication in a black-and-white sequined jacket, white shirt, black bow tie, and his trademark dark shades. The coordinated outfits of the couple not only accentuated their personal fashion sense but also reflected their peaceful coexistence.

Their journey to the awards was far from typical. The duo flew to Zanzibar on a charter plane, together and smiling as they were to commemorate the best of African entertainment and music. This theatrical arrival captured the limelight for what was to be a night of celebration and glamour.

The 2025 Trace Awards on 26th February celebrated great talent in African entertainment and music. Priscilla and Juma’s presence lent the event a further star appeal, with other guests and fans looking to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds.
Not only did their presence make them a power couple in the African entertainment sector but also the breathtaking fusion of Nigerian and Tanzanian cultures.

Their love has been a love saga to all the fans of the continent. From the initial encounter when they first met during Juma’s work commitments to the intimate Nikkah wedding in Tanzania on February 7, it has been a love and convergence of cultures.
