A few days ago, Funke Akindele’s “A Tribe Called Judah” hit a total gross of 400 Million Naira after its opening weekend gross of 113 Million Naira which so far, has been the highest recorded in the history of Nollywood and hasn’t failed to maintain its spot as the highest grossing movie of the year 2023.
But guess what, just yesterday the 29th of December, Funke Akindele took to her Instagram to post that the movie “ A Tribe Called Judah” has grossed a total of 613 Million Naira, making it just a little over two weeks since its release on December 15, 2023, that the movie grossed highest in the Nigerian Box Office. In the appreciation post by the filmmaker, she appreciated the Nigerian fanbase and all her fans who have in one way or another supported her since her journey started journey, thus her post read:
