The breaker of this barrier is Nancy Isime; a woman constantly shattering glass ceilings.

The huge reveal was made by Official HipTV on instagram. The caption to the post wend thus:

“History made. And for the first time ever, a woman takes the stage alone to host the biggest night in Nigerian music. @nancyisimeofficial isn’t just returning, she’s rewriting the script.
One mic. One Queen. One unforgettable night.
The 17th Headies… Back to Base.”

The upcoming Headies Awards has the theme “Back to Base”. As always, it promises to be an experience and the thought of Nancy hosting the show makes it even much more exciting.

This year’s theme, “Back to Base,” signals a return to the roots of Nigerian music, celebrating its evolution while honoring the sounds and stories that laid the foundation.
