Singer Tiwa Savage recently shared her thoughts on Nigeria’s “Big 3” in music—Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
There has also been talk of expanding this elite list to a “Big 4,” with potential additions like Tiwa Savage, Rema, and Asake.
In an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Tiwa confidently stated that she believes she is more talented than Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
When asked if she felt she should be part of the “Big 3” or “Big 4,” Tiwa affirmed her talent saying she deserves a place among Nigeria’s top artists.
In her words;
“Don’t get me started. If we are to go talent for talent, mic for mic, I am the big 1. If you take off the numbers, and whatever you want to judge the big whatever with, you can’t see me on the mic. But again, it [the ranking] is not based on that [musical talent].”
