Inside Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola’s Fairytale Wedding Across 3 Countries — What You Missed

Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola didn’t just have a wedding—they gave us a whole trilogy. From a private civil ceremony in Monaco, to a full Yoruba celebration in Dubai, and finally a dreamy fairytale in Iceland, every moment was love, culture, and fashion rolled into one. If you missed it, we’ve got the full gist (and lots of photos).

Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola! When we say love is sweet, this is exactly what we mean. Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola didn’t just have a wedding—they gave us a whole movie series across three countries. From Monaco to Dubai to Iceland, every stop was another chapter in their love story, and honestly, if you blinked, you missed a lot.

Let’s take it from the top. Their story started back in London, 2017. A casual “hi” at a party turned into something bigger, and years later, Eazi proposed in Venice while shooting his music video Legalize. Romantic, right? Now fast forward to 2025—time for the weddings (yes, plural).

The first one was in Monaco, on May 9th. That date wasn’t random—it was the birthday of Mr Eazi’s late mum, which made it really special. Just the two of them, no crowd, no paparazzi. Temi showed up in a chic white suit by Wiederhoeft with delicate jewelry, while Eazi kept it smooth in Louis Vuitton. After signing the papers, they toasted with champagne at Karl Lagerfeld’s Villa La Vigie. Later, Temi switched things up in a playful polka-dot dress, proving even a “small” wedding can be stylish. It was simple, classy, and filled with love.

By July, it was time for the family to join in. The Yoruba wedding happened at the Otedola family home in Dubai, and trust me, it was the full Nigerian experience. Think drummers, dancing, and outfits that could light up the whole city. Temi gave us not one, not two, but four couture looks from designers like Zac Posen, Lisa Folawiyo, Miss Sohee, and Oscar de la Renta. Eazi made his entrance like a true Yoruba groom—styled by Jason Rembert in Lisa Folawiyo, walking in with live drummers and holding a cane that screamed royalty.

There were emotional moments too. When Temi looked at him and called him “my oko” (my husband), everyone felt it. And the reception? Oh, it was a dream. Picture 2,000 lanterns, chandeliers above your head, booths covered in Ankara fabric, and food that made people forget their diets—pounded yam, egusi, snails, the full Nigerian buffet. Later, they honored Eazi’s Igbo side too—Temi in a Lisa Folawiyo akwa ocha dress with beaded fringe and Eazi in a matching Mazelle. From King Sunny Adé performing live to DJ Eude taking over the turntables, the party didn’t slow down one bit.

But the biggest twist came in August—destination Iceland. If Monaco was chic and Dubai was cultural, Iceland was straight out of a fairytale. The wedding took place inside Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavík, with Temi walking in wearing a Fendi Haute Couture gown inspired by Audrey Hepburn. Eazi looked sharp in Saint Laurent. After church, the reception happened inside a glass tent in the middle of Icelandic nature—fog, moss, waterfalls, volcanic stones. It felt like the land itself was part of the wedding decoration.

And then, the surprise that shook everyone—John Legend stepped out to sing. Imagine having John Legend sing at your wedding dinner… whew. Later that night, the couple and their guests turned up at The Edition’s underground nightclub. Temi was glowing in a sparkly Ludovic Saint Sernin mini dress, Eazi rocked custom Louis Vuitton, and they both wore “Love Is Eazi” jackets like matching teenagers in love. But it didn’t end there.

The next morning, everyone was whisked to an arctic beach at Hvammsvik for an after-party under the Northern Lights. Guests were in hot springs, eating burrata pizza, butter chicken, and Icelandic hot dogs. Who else throws a party in ice-cold water with the stars above? Only these two.

Of course, there was gist outside the couple, too. At one point, American DJ Diplo made headlines when he showed up at the Dubai wedding with one date, but later was spotted dancing with another. Only at this kind of wedding, right?

And let’s not forget Femi Otedola’s moment as father of the bride. In classic Naija dad style, he gave his daughter some advice that had everyone laughing. He told Temi, “Your husband is now your boss. Don’t call me again—it’s your boss you should call!” You could feel the love and playfulness in his words, and it showed just how much this wedding meant to the family.

So, what did we really see from all this? That love doesn’t have to follow one script. From the private “just us” vibes in Monaco, to the rich Nigerian traditions in Dubai, to the magical dreamland of Iceland, Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola celebrated in their own way. Every detail, every look, every song was a reflection of who they are.

And for those of us who weren’t invited (yes, we’re all in that boat together), don’t worry—we brought the gist. Scroll down for photos from the wedding of the year. Trust us, you don’t want to miss a single one.
