Journalist and Writer, Laila Johnson-Salami is one of the stylish women featured in the Styletitude segment in Genevieve Magazine‘s August 2020 Issue.

Inside this issue, Laila discusses how the new normal has influenced and impacted her productivity and relationship with work.

For the feature, the ARISE journalist took on a bold blue two-piece set designed by Lagos based brand GËTO. The sheer shirt and pants set brought a dramatic effect with its voluminous statement sleeves. She completed the look with gorgeous brown braids styled in a ponytail and glossy brown makeup that complemented her perfectly.

On her personal relationship with work and productivity during the lockdown:

I’ve really just proved myself to myself during this time. I didn’t think I’d be able to keep up my productivity levels as I thought my anxiety would constantly override me. But I’ve been staying on top of things and I’m proud of myself.
