This was not a quiet red carpet. The premiere of Love and New Notes turned into a full 80s fashion moment, and the celebrities showed up ready to remind us how bold style used to be.

Statement blazers stole the spotlight. Broad shoulders, strong cuts, and confident fits made every entrance feel powerful. Paired with tailored trousers, the looks screamed classic 80s energy with a modern polish that still felt fresh.

Some stars went the cultural route and it worked beautifully. Lace iro and bubu made a strong appearance, styled in a way that felt rich, proud, and very stylish. It was a perfect blend of old school glam and Nigerian elegance, proof that the 80s vibe is not limited to suits alone.

The suits were sharp, clean, and full of attitude. From relaxed fits to structured tailoring, each look stayed true to the theme while letting personality shine through. Nothing felt forced. Everything felt intentional.

What made the night special was the confidence. The colors were bold, the fabrics were loud, and the styling was fearless. This was fashion with presence. The kind that turns heads and starts conversations.

At Timini Egbuson’s premiere, the 80s did not just show up. It took over, and it did it in style.
