Showmax Naija will be airing a new Nigerian Original reality show called “Style Magnate” and has already released a trailer for it, disclosing that it will Air on Friday, being the 4th of October, with subsequent episodes coming out every Friday for the duration of its airing.
The Fashion series ably led by stylist and master creative Mai Atafo, “Style Magnate” is a fashion, style and design competition which will be housing a total of 20 growing fashion designers who will for their time in the house, compete to win a cash prize of 10 million Naira, 100 million Naira worth of prizes, a one bedroom apartment, and the grand title just as the show name implies, “The Style Magnate”.
The contestants who were chosen after a tough screening process through professional scrutiny will have to battle for a month, doing what they know how to do best. The best will be brought out of them as they go through limit breaking training, challenges, and tasks, all the time facing the pressure, the creative environment and the battle against the time of which they have to prove themselves in skills like ideating, planning, sketching, designing, and then bringing their genius creations to life by creating either sustainable clothing from recycled material or designing clothing for Top Celebrities during group projects which of course, they won’t want to flop at.
The coming episodes will test, challenge, and prove every successfully screened contestant and of course, with an audience ready to cheer and to be kept at anxious at the thought f who will win the title of “The Style Magnate”. The show will be hosted by all time Host icon; Joseph Benjamin, and principal is Nigerian stylist and designer Yolanda Okereke, while the chief convener Mai Atafo does justice with effective guidance in the training grounds
