Andrea Iyamah, a household Nigerian fashion designer made a dazzling Edo-Delta bride in a custom made tube dress which was fully beaded from head to toe and featured long sleeves which were detached.

Andrea is well known for infusing African heritage with unbeatable craftsmanship in her ready-to-wear, swimwear, and bridal clothes. She made a bold statement with her traditional wedding attire which was fully detailed with custom-dyed beads.

It took over 500 hours to make her dress which created a beautiful fusion between the Edo and Deltan cultures.

Over the years, Edo people have been known for bringing their A-game when it comes to beading, especially red beads. Their luxe beading style has gained a face on the global stage, symbolizing Royal, wealth, and beauty.

Inspired by the hashtag #TheEdenWedding, which evokes the biblical Garden of Eden, Andrea transported us to a realm of perfection with her stunning creation. Click the ▶ button below to view the production process through the eyes of Somkhele Idhalama.
