The Classic Loop

This is the most common way to wear a scarf and also, the most commonly used. Simply drape the scarf around your neck, leaving one end shorter than the other. Then loop the longer end around your neck once or twice, depending on the length of the scarf. This style works well with both lightweight and heavier scarves.

The Infinity

This style creates a looped scarf that doesn’t have any loose ends. You can achieve this by tying the two ends of the scarf together to create a large loop. Then twist the loop in the middle and place it around your neck. This style has proven to be better with longer, lightweight scarves.

The Blanket Scarf

As its name entails “Blanket” these scarves are large, cosy scarves that can be wrapped around your neck or even worn as a shawl. Simply drape the scarf around your shoulders, and then crisscross the ends around your neck, pulling them back over your shoulders.

The Belted Scarf

This style adds a bit of structure to your outfit. You can achieve this by draping the scarf around your neck, with just one of the ends longer than the other. Then tie a belt around your waist, pulling the longer end of the scarf through the belt. This style works well with lightweight, silky scarfs. This style isn’t the most casual and the look it creates can be highly selective.

The Headscarf

Scarfs can also be worn as head wraps or turbans. Simply fold the scarf into a long strip and place it over your head, with the ends hanging down the sides, afterwards you tie both ends together at the nape of your neck. This style works well with lightweight, silky scarves.

The Bow

This style is perfect for adding a touch of femininity to your outfit and putting out your face quite well. Simply drape the scarf around your neck, with one end shorter than the other. Then tie the longer end into a bow, leaving the shorter end loose.
