Ray-Ban is bringing the Marvel universe into its eyewear collection with a new collaboration inspired by four iconic characters: Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Doom, and Deadpool. The collection takes some of the eyewear brand’s familiar silhouettes and gives them a superhero-inspired makeover through character colours, signature symbols, engraved details, and distinctive finishes.

The Ray-Ban Marvel Eyewear Collection features four adult sunglasses designs, with an additional children’s range inspired by Spider-Man and Captain America. Rather than creating conventional superhero merchandise, the collaboration incorporates elements of each character’s identity into recognisable Ray-Ban frames, making the designs wearable beyond the world of comic books.

The release also arrives ahead of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday, putting Doctor Doom in the spotlight as one of the collection’s featured characters.

Each of the four adult designs takes a different approach, drawing inspiration from the characters’ costumes, colours, and recognisable symbols.

Spider-Man’s influence appears on the Wayfarer Folding, which retails for $249. The black square frames feature red spiderweb detailing along the temples, alongside Spider-Man insignias on the lenses and temple tips. Its folding construction makes the sunglasses compact enough to carry easily, while a specially engraved message is hidden inside the bridge hinge.

Captain America’s design takes inspiration from Ray-Ban’s classic pilot-style eyewear. The Aviator Max, priced at $319, features a silver metal frame with red, white, and blue accents along the temples. A blue leather bridge cover carries the First Avenger’s Super Soldier star, while shield insignias appear on the lenses and temple tips.

Deadpool brings a more unconventional look to the collection with the RB2228. Retailing for $227, the wraparound sunglasses feature curved lenses and a metallic gradient finish that transitions from black to red. The character’s signature colours also appear on the anti-slip temple tips, with red-and-white detailing completing the design. Deadpool’s insignia is featured on the lenses and temples.

Ray-Ban Brings Marvel to Children’s Eyewear

The collaboration extends beyond adult sunglasses with a children’s collection featuring Spider-Man and Captain America-inspired designs. The selection includes sunglasses, optical frames, and a Mini Aviator, giving younger Marvel fans their own take on the partnership.

Spider-Man’s children’s sunglasses arrive in a bright red frame with mirrored lenses decorated with silver spiderweb detailing. Character graphics extend along the temples, while a safety cord featuring a small rubber Spider-Man figure adds a playful touch.

There is also a matching optical frame with a slim, squared silhouette, character graphics on the temples, and detachable clip-on sun lenses featuring a web-inspired pattern.

For Captain America, Ray-Ban introduces a Mini Aviator with a red metal frame and blue lenses. Shield-inspired details appear on the temple tips, bringing the character’s familiar colours and identity into a smaller version of one of the brand’s most recognisable designs.

The Ray-Ban Marvel Eyewear Collection is available through select Ray-Ban stores and the brand’s official online store. Adult designs are priced between $227 and $319, with Deadpool’s RB2228 at the lower end and Captain America’s Aviator Max carrying the highest price tag.

With its mix of classic Ray-Ban silhouettes and Marvel-inspired details, the collaboration offers a different way for fans to wear their favourite characters. From Doctor Doom’s gold-and-green frames to Spider-Man’s web-inspired Wayfarers, each design brings a recognisable piece of the Marvel universe into everyday eyewear.
