Crispy Plantain Chips Recipe: A Flavorful Twist on a Classic Dish!

Plantain chips is flavorful snack packed with nutrients which is ideal for parties, hosting guests, or just random snacking around! In this guide, we’re going to be putting you through on how to make plantain chips snacks in the simplest possible steps!

Ingredients You’ll Need:

Ripe plantains
All-purpose flour
Bread crumbs
Eggs
Salt
Pepper
Your favorite seasoning (optional)
Oil for frying

Instructions:

Peel the plantains and cut them into thick slices.
In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs mixed with your preferred seasonings.
Dip each plantain slice first in the flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the bread crumbs mixture.
Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Fry the coated plantain slices until they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Once fried, transfer the plantain chops to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve and enjoy.
