Kellyrae, the winner of Big Brother Naija season 9, has expressed frustration over constant financial demands from family and friends.
Speaking in a recent interview with media personality Hero Daniels, he appealed to people to stop asking him for money, emphasizing that he is not as wealthy as they assume.
Kellyrae revealed that after reports surfaced about him gifting N55 million from his prize money to his wife, Kassia, he has been overwhelmed with requests for financial assistance.
He explained that he’s not in a position to support everyone financially, especially given the rising costs of living and other expenses.
In his words;
“I was receiving calls people close to us after I said I gave Kassia N55 million and they were asking for their own share of my prize money.”
“I will like to say to everyone, I’m not a rich man yet please. The money is big but things are expensive.”
Even if it’s egg I want to buy, how many crates of eggs will I buy? Please allow a brother to settle.”
