Even though Veekee James didn’t walk the AMVCA 2025 red carpet herself, her work still stole the spotlight. She designed two amazing dresses for Osas Ighodaro and Mercy Aigbe, and both looks got everyone talking.
Osas Ighodaro’s dress was the real shocker, it was made from a towel. Yes, a regular towel. Veekee James shared this fun fact on Instagram, and fans couldn’t believe it.
The dress looked far from simple. It was a mix of green, white, copper, and silver, with a pattern that looked like flowing water or a map. To top it off, Osas wore a crown-like headpiece that made her look like a goddess. The whole look was bold, creative, and powerful.
Mercy Aigbe’s dress, on the other hand, was more simple but still very elegant. Her dress represented the moon, stars, and sun all in one. It featured soft and calm colors like orange, yellow, black, and white,the gown told a quiet story of light and beauty. It wasn’t loud, but it didn’t have to be. The dress gave off grace, peace, and strength a perfect reminder that elegance doesn’t always have to shout.
