Couldn’t make it to the Iyalode premiere? Don’t worry, you are in the right place for full fashion moments. The fashion alone was enough to ease the fear of missing out. From glamorous gowns to rich traditional wear, the red carpet was a full-blown fashion fest, and the stars made sure no one would forget this night in a hurry.

The theme was “Oversabi Aunty”, and the celebrities ran with it in the best way possible, over-the-top, extra, and fabulous! Inspired by Toyin Abraham’s vibrant and unforgettable energy at Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux’s wedding, everyone showed up looking like royalty with a dramatic twist.

One outfit that stole the spotlight was worn by Veekee James, she came in a fiery red beaded Kente dress that hugged her perfectly. It was bold, rich, and absolutely unforgettable. The intricate beadwork and the overall elegance of the look screamed high fashion with a touch of African pride.

Other celebs  brought their A-game too, in stunning aso-oke, sequins, lace, and even feathered looks that mixed tradition and modern glam effortlessly. It felt like a cultural fashion show and we loved every minute of it.

Though you didn’t get to sit in the audience or catch the live vibe, these standout looks bring the energy right to your screen. And while the outfits dazzled, the movie Iyalode itself is even more powerful, a story of culture, courage, and one woman’s fierce fight for power in a world ruled by men.

So relax, scroll through the fashion moments, and let the style from the Iyalode premiere lift your mood. you didn’t miss it all after all.
