The business of beauty continues to defy gravity, as women are on a journey of exploration. Our April Cover and Editorial is a beauty one that explores various forms at which women go to enhance their looks. Nigerian Actress Linda Osifo is our brave muse for this editorial not only is she making waves in Nollywood, she also knows a lot about the Beauty industry as she professionally competed in beauty pageants that landed her as the First Runner-Up at Miss Nigeria Entertainment Canada 2011 and Second Runner Up at Miss AfriCanada 2011.

This brings us to the different options available:
The Instant Fix: This refers to the age-old desire for instant gratification, focused on the skincare segment. Products that allow a consumer to see immediate improvement in bags or lines or brightening are often in this class
The Doll Look: Using makeup or surgery to create a look more porcelain -like, smooth and perfect. It doesn’t aspire to be natural looking it’s about flawlessness.
Skin Care From The Earth: The skin category continues to explode with more natural, clean and even food-standard products. There is a perception that skin and mind are linked and there’s a connection between skin care and wellness.
Some have had a potato-shaped nose adjusted and some have had breast enhancement. Others have had a facelift to take a few years off, while others really want nothing at all to do with it.
