Funke Akindele and Waje are making a case for coordinated traditional fashion, while Shoday is adding his own colourful twist to the conversation. The trio stepped out in London in standout looks that balanced Nigerian style with individual expression, giving us plenty to admire.
The actors and singer are in the UK promoting The Four: No One Fights Alone, and their appearance delivered a fashion moment worth paying attention to. Funke and Waje embraced matching buba and iro-inspired ensembles with floral embellishments, while Shoday opted for a custom embroidered blazer that brought a different energy to the group’s coordinated outing.

Funke Akindele and Waje started with a similar off-white textured fabric, but their floral details made each outfit distinct. Funke’s look featured crimson-red roses with spiral stitching across the bodice and bell sleeves. Her wrapper carried yellow sunflowers and green leafy details, creating a vibrant contrast against the neutral base.
She completed the ensemble with a golden-yellow head wrap, layered gold necklaces, a chunky cuff bracelet, and metallic red platform sandals. The accessories brought the different colours together without taking attention away from the floral craftsmanship.

Waje took a softer approach to the same idea. Her blouse featured lavender roses around the neckline and sleeves, while oversized green floral appliqués decorated the hem of her wrapper. A matching scarf with lavender trim continued the colour theme, complemented by a gold necklace with turquoise accents, coordinating earrings and multicoloured platform heels.
The result was a coordinated appearance that allowed both women to retain their individual style. Rather than wearing identical outfits, they worked with the same fabric and silhouette while letting their choice of colours and embellishments set them apart.

Shoday brought a different kind of statement to the outing. The singer wore a single-breasted blazer covered in bold chevron embroidery in turquoise, yellow, red and blue. He paired it with a beige mesh-knit top and cream wide-leg trousers, allowing the jacket to remain the centrepiece of his look.
Stacked silver Cuban-link chains and dark dress shoes completed the outfit. His choice of colour, texture and relaxed tailoring offered a contemporary contrast to the traditional ensembles worn by Funke and Waje, while still fitting comfortably into the group’s fashion moment.

Beyond the outfits, the London appearance comes with an important update for the film they are promoting. Funke Akindele Network and FilmOne Entertainment have announced that The Four: No One Fights Alone will premiere in the UK on 29 November at ODEON Luxe Leicester Square in London, ahead of its worldwide cinema release on 11 December.
The film features an ensemble cast including Funke Akindele, Waje, Chioma Akpotha, Bisola Aiyeola, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Lateef Adedimeji, Timini Egbuson and Uzor Arukwe, among others.

With the London premiere approaching, the cast’s promotional appearances are already giving fans reasons to pay attention, both to the film and the fashion moments surrounding it. For this outing, Funke and Waje showed how matching traditional looks can still feel personal, while Shoday made sure his embroidered blazer had a moment of its own.
