Afrobeats star Asake is officially stepping into a new era with the announcement of his upcoming album, M$NEY. The project is set to drop on May 1, 2026, a date he shared with fans across his social platforms, instantly sparking anticipation among listeners who have followed his rapid rise.
To mark the announcement, Asake delivered more than just a date. He shared a visually striking behind-the-scenes video capturing the creation of a marble sculpture crafted in his image by Iraqi-Dutch artist Arthar Jabar. The artistic reveal adds a deeper layer to the rollout, hinting at a project that blends music with bold visual storytelling.
M$NEY arrives on the heels of a string of releases that have kept Asake firmly in the spotlight. From tracks like “Why Love” and “Bad Gangsta” featuring Tiakola to his global collaboration “WORSHIP” with DJ Snake, the singer has continued to expand his sound and reach. He also recently teamed up with Wizkid on a joint project, reinforcing his position among Afrobeats’ most influential voices.
This upcoming album marks Asake’s fourth studio project, following the success of Mr Money With The Vibe, Work of Art, and Lungu Boy. With each release, he has built a reputation for fusing street-inspired energy with refined production, and M$NEY looks set to continue that evolution.
While fans await the full tracklist and more details, one thing is already clear: May 1 is shaping up to be a defining moment for Asake’s next chapter.
