When lifestyle content creator Simi Sanya and her fiancé, Femi Dapson, realized that the time had come to take their relationship to the next step, they did this with a lot of poise and a whole lot of heart. Their introduction ceremony, a revered tradition of Nigerian culture that brings the family together to establish a foundation for the wedding, was simply elegant.
Simi wore a gorgeous gold metallic corset top complete with sheer illusion sleeves, along with tiny floral appliques intricately designed to dance across her shoulders, arms and torso. She wore this outfit along with a gold geometric patterned skirt that reflected the same florals.
On her head she wore a rich, brown gele, and a diamond choker necklace, along with diamond choker earrings, brought a perfect sparkle to her ensemble. Completing the look was gold strappy sandals that made sure to be elegant enough for the event. In a way, this is one of those pieces that makes you take note of the value of special details
Femi complemented her well in a brown agbada, topped with an embroidered fila. He wore beads of earthly shades on his chest, a beaded tassel, and beads on his hands to give a cultural twist to his outfit.
The piece of footwear that caught our attention was the ornate walking stick, boasting carved patterns and a gold band, to be matched with brown leather sandals. These two surely incorporated their respective sets to effectively convey that underlying theme of being connected to nature.
