Nse Ikpe-Etim recently posted a glimpse behind the scenes of Mo Abudu’s upcoming project “Dust to Dreams” as it transitions into the post-production phase. Under the direction of Idris Elba, the short film features a cast including Eku Edewor, Atlanta Bridget Johnson, Constance Olatunde, and British singer Seal.

In her words, she said:

It doesn’t just take a village, it takes a good village. Grateful to the entire team of @ebonylifefilms led by the visionary @moabudu for making this dream come true and through.

To my co-stars, @seal, @konstance001, @atlanta.bridget.johnson, @ekuedewor, thank you for bringing all of yourselves into this. Special shoutout to our stand-ins and background actors as well, a film is incomplete without you all.

They say a good director creates an environment, which gives the actor wings to fly. You did just that @idriselba. A big thanks to you and the entire crew who also made this project theirs. #Dust2Dreams is officially a wrap, and we cannot wait for the world to see what we have made.

I am thrilled to finally unveil these BTS images of “Dust to Dreams” with you all.

A heartfelt thank you to @IdrisElba for believing in this project and for his exceptional partnership and direction as the director of “Dust to Dreams.”

Here’s a glimpse into our story – Lagos nightclub owner Milli (@NseIkpeEtim) entrusts her legacy to her shy daughter Bisola (@Konstance001), while a long-lost soldier father (@Seal) reunites with his family. Milli’s sisters, Comfort (@EkuEdewor) and Patience (@Atlanta.Bridget.Johnson), are trying to find their place in the world. Music becomes their redemption, with a soulful duet healing them all.

Watching the rushes, I’m overwhelmed by the award-winning performances of our entire cast. Thank you all immensely.

To the seamless team behind it all, God bless you. At our wrap party, Idris declared this the best crew he’s ever worked with! @Heidiwena, @Ted_abudu, @InemKing, @Vanessa__Demme, Isla, @milywhyte, @YolandaOkereke, Isabella, @LanreDaSilvaAjayi, @Solomonemma1, Godwin, @Maybaykar, @SurisaSurisa, Ferami, Alex, Uju, @henryyoungofficial @kooldolphinpictures, and our continent-spanning interns – we did it. And to one of the most talented DOPs I’ve ever worked with, @TristanChenais, the breathtaking stills captured by the wonderful @KelechiAmadiObi and our documentary by @Msjazzyfied, thank you all immensely.

Deep gratitude to our project sponsors, @afreximbankofficial Your support is priceless.

Music is integral to the film, with cameos from rising stars and an unforgettable original title song that will leave you spellbound!

A huge thank you to @MichaelWilliams1007 and his team at the White Orchid Hotel and EbonyLife Place for hosting our cast and crew. To all at EbonyLife Media, supporting us with HR, Operations, Legal, Finance, Security, I say thank you.

This film is a testament to the power of collaboration. Thank you, God, for this incredible opportunity!

Now over to post-production and the rest!
