Femi Falana Denies Allegations Of Involvement with Bobrisky

Human rights lawyer Femi Falana has strongly denied allegations made by social media user VeryDarkMan, which suggest a connection between him and controversial figure Bobrisky.

VeryDarkMan claimed in a video that unnamed EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) officers received ₦15 million from Bobrisky to drop money laundering charges.

The video also alleged that Falana sought a presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange for ₦10 million.In response to these accusations, Falana spoke on Channels Television, stating that he has never met or communicated with Bobrisky.

He clarified that Bobrisky had reached out to his son, Folarin (also known as Falz), for help, but Falz advised Bobrisky to pursue official channels instead.Falana labeled the allegations as false and defamatory.

While he initially resisted filing a criminal complaint, he plans to take civil action to protect his and his son’s reputation.

Following the controversy, VeryDarkMan issued an apology, expressing surprise at mentioning Falana’s name in his audio.
