[Y]ou are probably wondering what “Jambalaya ” is and what it tastes like. Well, Jambalaya is an American Creole and Cajun rice dish of French, African, and Spanish influence, consisting mainly of meat and vegetables mixed with rice.

How do you prepare this Jambalaya pasta? Youtube vlogger and chef, “Chef Lola” is showing us how to make Jambalaya with chicken, shrimp and sausage. This meal is a combo of different flavours and will definitely make your day spicier. You can make Jambalaya Pasta within 30-40 minutes.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 1 pound pasta fettuccine
  • 1lb chicken breast
  • ½ lb shrimp
  • ½ lb sausage sliced into half-inch-thick pieces
  • 2 tbsp cajun spice
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • ¾ cup (120g) onion
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 medium diced tomato
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes or cayenne powder
  • ½ cup of diced red and green bell pepper
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper
