The slip dress comes in all different styles, shapes, materials and it is definitely a wardrobe staple these days, due to its versatility and stylishness. The beauty of a slip dress is, no matter your sense of style, it pretty much works for everyone.
The slip dress is also a great transitional and layering piece for your wardrobe as it can work for all seasons (winter with the the help of some essential layering pieces).

This is my favorite thing about the slip dress; how easy it is to layer. You can pretty much layer it with anything. Wearing your slip dress with a t-shirt, crop, blouse, sports jacket etc underneath. Or a sweatshirt under or over it.
Also wearing it with a pair of jeans or pants underneath also works great.
Edgy
So we know most slip dresses to be delicate and soft looking but there is always room for adventure if you choose. That’s why a slip dress is fast becoming a staple wardrobe piece. Mixing your slip dress with some knee or thigh high boots and a cool leather or denim jacket .
