Jackie Aina is one of the leading influencers championing diversity in the beauty industry and her latest stride is very commendable. The beauty vlogger recently announced a new collaboration with cosmetics giant Anastasia Beverly Hills! The product is a 14-shadow cruelty-free palette made for all complexions but predominantly made to cater to darker skin shades.
In an exclusive interview with Allure, Jackie explained why her main focus was on shades that were perfect for darker shades;
Many eyeshadow palettes are made for the masses. You always have two or three shades you never wear because you don’t like them or the pigment doesn’t work on your skin tone. Even if someone doesn’t like a particular color in the palette, there are definitely shades that will look good on medium and dark skin.
She announced the new range with a full video on her channel and showed all the shades from the new line.
