The year 2020 has done the most. However, one thing it can’t do is keep a good woman down. But don’t just take my word for it, ask Jennifer Lopez.
Aside from announcing that she will be launching J.Lo Beauty in the fear future, the star just released a hot new music video alongside Maluma for their duet “Pa Ti + Lonely.”
While the song has already racked up well over a million views on YouTube, we can’t get over J.Lo’s ever-evolving hairstyles in each clip, all of which were crafted by her go-to stylist Chris Appleton.
“Hair has such a big part of the storytelling,” Appleton shared with Vogue when speaking on the looks. “The hairstyle enables you to believe who that person is or what situation she’s in — it was a lot of fun.”
In true J.Lo fashion, the star offered up a plethora of looks in the video. But one that stood out from the rest were the curtain bangs she debuted in one of the final scenes — a style we’re predicting will be trending for fall thanks to TikTok.
Of course, this isn’t the singer’s first rodeo with fringe.
Back in 2018, she had long front bangs, which were also created by Appleton.
Bangs aside, another one of her unforgettable looks for the video was the literal chain ponytail she wore for the rooftop scene.
To bring the style together, Appleton shared on his Instagram that his on-set assistant Mitchell Ramazon only had one hour to find the embellishments.
And it was certainly a job well done.
