Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa are giving us all kinds of feels as they mark their third wedding anniversary, and believe me, in style. This gospel power couple sprung the cuteness of the most-talked-about photo-shoot from everybody’s lips.
Mercy Chinwo, the queen of gospel music, served looks that could stop traffic. For their anniversary shoot, she slipped into a sleek black blazer paired with a crisp white collared shirt, tucked into a black mermaid-style skirt that hugged her curves and flowed into a dramatic train.
And can we please talk about a wide-brimmed black hat? Old Hollywood starlet vibes with a black necktie to seal the deal. Mercy looked like a dream from a classic romance film, and I’m living for every bit of it.
Well, Pastor Blessed was not going to be outdone, and so in a black three-piece suit quite elegant with a white shirt and black bow tie, he matched her energy. Together, love and fashion locked in a power couple status definition. Their chemistry in these very photos? Put the love in the air literally.
With lots of love on Instagram, Mercy captioned: “Three years of love, grace, countless memories, and God’s purpose guiding us. Happy anniversary to us, Sweet @theofficialblessed. God’s hand is in every chapter of our lives. Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and kingdom impact.” And cue the awws! Such words are a beautiful reminder of the living faith and love that hold their relationship.
For those who’ve been following, Mercy and Pastor Blessed got married back in August 2022 and their story has since been an utmost inspiration. They welcomed their son, Charis, in October 2023, hence making their lives even more joyous.
These shots are not just about looking good (which, obviously, they did!). Mercy and Blessed are out here showing us what it means to build a life together while keeping God as the center. And I must say they look absolutely cool doing it.
