Taye9ja and Toni Tone are giving everyone serious wedding outfit goals. On their big day, they didn’t just look amazing, they completely stunned in three different traditional outfits that were unforgettable. Each look is unique and together, they showed just how stylish a traditional wedding can be.
Their pre-wedding shoot already gave a glimpse of their style, but their Yoruba traditional wedding took it to another level.
For their first look, the couple went with rich purple shades. Toni wore a fitted midi dress with beautiful beadwork and patterns in dark purple and magenta. Her gele was tied perfectly on her head, and her matching heels completed the outfit. Taye matched her effortlessly in a flowing agbada with embroidery, a purple fila, and a traditional walking stick, making them look perfectly coordinated.
For the second outfit, they switched to lush green colors. Toni looked stunning in a mermaid-style dress covered in beads and shiny sequins, paired with a teal gele that had touches of gold. Taye complemented her in a dark green agbada with detailed embroidery, matching trousers, and a cap that matched the rich green tones. Together, they looked elegant and perfectly in sync.
The third outfit felt like it was made for the after-party. Toni wowed everyone in a bright, mosaic-inspired gown with multicolored circular patterns that almost looked like stained glass.
The halter neck, deep neckline, side slit, and long flowing train made her look like a queen. Taye kept up with her bold style in a mint green tailored suit worn without a shirt. He added glasses, a chain necklace, and a sleek watch to give a modern, stylish twist.
