The Remarkable Agbada Attack Sweeping Through The Fashion Scene

Agbada

Agbada is a fashion staple in Nigerian fashion, and while it’s for men, our ladies have joined the fashion train. This attire has been in existence for centuries and is believed to be the most elegant among other traditional dress as it has been the main attire of the royal family in past years.

Its original design is a loose fit, typically made from colorful fabrics like silk, velvet, cotton, etc. but with the constant dynamics of days, the styles and patterns have taken a new turn and more evolved looks brought a fine aesthetic into reality.

As previously mentioned, the agbada has been chiefly used by the southern chieftains, people of high social status, and royals, making the materials and clothing fabric delicately special. But then as centuries pass, its use, availability, and usability have also evolved into different fashion considerations, becoming common but still respected by men of all ages and backgrounds.
