Iyalode is set to hit cinemas on June 6. Directed by Adebayo Tijani and produced by Toyin Abraham, it’s a powerful Yoruba epic filled with culture, power, and royalty.
With a cast that includes Kehinde Bankole, Wale Ojo, Bukky Wright, and Femi Adebayo, it promises gripping storytelling and strong female leads just like the name Iyalode (which means a titled woman or female leader in Yoruba culture) suggests.
So yes, the movie is going to be a must-watch. But Veekee James? She already gave us a fashion masterpiece before the lights even went down.
