Victony and Terry G Ignite Beach Vibes in Scorching ‘Tanko’ Video

Victony & Terry G Ignite Beach Vibes in Scorching 'Tanko' Video

Have you listened to the newest sound in town by Victony called “Tanko,” featuring the legendary Terry G? Trust me, you’ve not seen vibes as serious as this one. This collaboration is an absolute banger, combining Victony’s smooth, modern Afrobeats flow with Terry G’s wild, street-pop energy. It’s about hustle, life, and making the best out of it after all on the release of this track dated August 8, 2025. The video is such a houseparty on a sunny beach, and trust me, it’s giving everything you need to get hyped for the rest of summer.

From the jump, “Tanko” hits you with that feel-good energy. Victony comes with lyrics telling his story of grinding from the bottom to the top, trading in Dunlops for sold-out shows on the biggest stages. Chill confident shrugging off haters while still locked in on dreams. Then Terry G is sliding in super flashy and whew, it’s like that early 2000s street anthem getting a 2025 glow-up. The “Akpako Master” is swinging his iconic bell, dropping verses that make you want to jump up and move. Together they are cross-generational yet serving a nostalgic yet fresh vibe, like a cold drink on a hot day.

Now, it has to be said that the music video is a whole mood. Victony and Terry G are stirring up boundless energy if happiness. Smooth sailing Victony’s vocals now mix with electrifying Terry G’s high-voltage dance moves that are bound to electrify the party gloriously. Party mode has just started! The visuals really draw in that relaxed electricity, so it feels like you’re on a beach warm soaking in sun and sound.

It’s a street anthem with deep-seated meanings. While “Tanko” is street football lingo, Victony plays around with the term and flips an image of duality; dreams and discipline, hustle and heart. He’s out here spitting bars like: “Too many nights I’m hustling, too many girls I am shuffling,” owning his journey with no apologies. Meanwhile, Terry G’s whole stanza is mad chaos in an excellent way, coming through with that kind of unpredictable energy that gave tracks like “Free Madness” and “Run Mad” iconic status. The production is very tight with the elements of Afrobeats and street-pop, dealing in harmonizing these two possible weapons of nod.

So, what do you say? “Tanko” is that kind of song that really throws you into bumping the volume all the way up to bring great dance floors, or maybe even plan a quick escape to the beach. With its energetic video and the importing, infectious beat off the song, everyone needs to watch and jam with it. Long-time fans of Terry G will love this collab, as will anyone just vibing with the new wave that is Victony.
