When fashion meets creativity, boundaries disappear—and that’s exactly what happened at the 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), where Osas Ighodaro graced the red carpet in a jaw-dropping masterpiece designed by none other than Veekee James.
At first glance, the dress looked like a stunning blend of structure, art, and bold femininity. But wait—did you know part of that dress was made from an actual bathing towel? Yes, you read that right. A towel. The same thing you wrap around your head after a shower just had its fashion glow-up moment!
Veekee James, known for pushing the envelope and redefining glam, outdid herself with this design. The dress hugged Osas perfectly, blending rich green textures with earthy tones, creating an almost topographical illusion. The best part? It was sustainable, unconventional, and still gave everything it needed to give—drama, detail, and a whole lot of diva energy.
