American actress Yara Shahidi has taken an opportunity at the MTV Movie and TV Awards to show off how she rocks her new Adidas collaboration, while presenting an award for best performance in a movie.
The Grown-ish actress and producer wore one of her ReCreation Heritage printed tracksuits, a twist on the Beckenbauer, for which she took creative inspiration from her Iranian and African-American heritage. The silky material is an ode to her Grampie and his Persian rug shop, and the sleeves of the jacket can be pulled in with a drawstring for a slightly different vibe.
The actress wore the top open over a yellow Etro bustier for this occasion. She finished the outfit with a Christian Louboutin pumps and vintage Cartier jewelry sourced from the archives.
Jason Bolden, her stylist, helped bring the moment to life for the red carpet, and now we know that when we shop for her Satin Track Top and matching Track Pants, which ring up at $350 and are responsibly made from recycled materials, we won’t just be wearing them with sneakers.
