10 Beauty Hacks You Need to Know in 2023

As we stride confidently into 2023, the world of beauty beckons us with new possibilities and innovative techniques to elevate our appearance and self-assurance. To help you navigate this exciting beautiful landscape, I have put together 10 important beauty hacks you need to know in 2023 that will make you look better, smell better and feel better. Incorporating these natural beauty hacks into your routine will lead to a more polished and confident you in the year 2023 and beyond. Check them out below.

1. Fuller lips

For achieving fuller lips, apply your regular lipstick then dab a highlighter in the center of your lips. This will give an illusion of fuller and bigger lips and you can create a pout without much effort.

2. Preventing mascara marks

For preventing a mascara mask, you hold a spoon so it is hugging your eyelid then you apply your mascara as you usually apply it. This works because as you apply your mascara wand the residue coats the back of the spoon rather than your skin.

3. Makeup Waterproofing

Rubbing an ice cube all over your face and neck for about 1 minute before you apply your regular makeup helps to hold your makeup for long and also creates a waterproofing effect.

4. Quick drying of nail paint

Firstly, apply the nail color of your choice then dip your nail paint into a bowl containing ice water. Remember you can touch the nails in between to check if they are dried.

5. Long-lasting lipstick:

Apply your lipstick then lay tissue paper across your lips. Dust translucent powder on the tissue then remove the tissue. Now your lipstick will stay longer than usual.

6. Concealing dark circles with finesse:

If you have puffy eyes or dark circles, applying your concealer in a triangular shape will hide the redness beneath your eyes and brighten up your whole face.

7. Skincare application

Apply your skincare products using upward motions to help prevent lines and wrinkles.

8. Better eyebrow shaping:

I bet you didn’t know that you can use Vaseline for better eyebrow shaping. Vaseline does not just moisturize your brows it also makes it look fuller. If you have sparse eyebrows you should definitely give this hack a try.

9. Apply perfume

If you notice you smell like a perfume factory when you first spray your perfume and you don’t smell anything again later on. It means you haven’t been applying your perfume properly. Spray it behind your ears, the base of your throat, behind your knees, and finally inside your wrist. By applying it to your pulse points it will last longer.

10. Preventing skin staining during nail paint:

If you notice your nail paint always sticks to the edges of your skin try applying a layer of non-toxic glue along the edges using a brush. Let it stay for five minutes. When you are done applying your nail paint, peel off the dried glue coat. This method will help you get a perfectly painted nail polish.
