The music video for Rema‘s hit single ‘Calm Down’ surpasses CKay‘s ‘Love Nwantiti’ to become the most-viewed Afrobeats video on YouTube.
“Calm down,” music video which was released in Feb 2022 as part of Rema’s debut album “Raves & Roses,” rose quickly and gained worldwide success, particularly after featuring Selena Gomez on the remix.
The video reached 100 million views in under 3 months, making it the fastest Afrobeats single to achieve this milestone.
Selena Gomez’s remix also boosted its popularity, reaching No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100.
