Media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia, has taken legal action against activist Verydarkman, suing him for ₦500 million over defamation.

The lawsuit follows allegations made by Verydarkman, who recently accused Nedu of engaging in inappropriate relationships with women in exchange for helping them gain fame through his platform. He also claimed that Nedu had previously disclosed private details about influencers Nons Miraj and Ashmusy, alleging they were involved in a threesome with wealthy men for financial gain.

Verydarkman further alleged that during their conversation, Nedu badmouthed several female celebrities and shared their secrets. Adding to the controversy, the activist uploaded a 12-minute video on his YouTube channel titled “How Nedu Diverted NGO Scholarship Meant for Nigerians,” where he made more accusations against the media personality.

In response, Nedu’s legal representatives, along with Tokindrumz Picture and Media Ltd, stated that the claims made in the video were defamatory, false, and damaging to their client’s reputation. They also clarified that Nedu is not the owner of Tokindrumz but merely a talent associated with the brand.

The legal team has demanded that Verydarkman delete all videos involving Nedu from his platforms within 24 hours of receiving their notice. Additionally, they are requesting a public apology and ₦500 million in compensation for the harm caused to Nedu’s reputation.
