Sean “Diddy” Combs is hoping for a presidential lifeline — but it doesn’t look like Donald Trump is ready to hand it to him.
Following his recent conviction on two counts of prostitution-related charges, the music mogul is reaching for a last card: a presidential pardon. According to his lawyer, Nicole Westmoreland, Diddy’s legal team has already reached out to the Trump administration about the possibility — even after the rap icon was denied bail again ahead of his sentencing.

In July, Diddy was found guilty of transporting women for prostitution, but cleared of more serious charges like racketeering and sex trafficking, which carried potential life sentences. Even so, he’s still facing up to 20 years in prison.
Speaking to CNN, Westmoreland revealed:
“It’s my understanding that we’ve reached out and had conversations in reference to a pardon.”
But in a recent interview with Newsmax, Trump made it clear that he’s not feeling generous.
“They have talked to me about Sean,” he said.
“But when I ran for office, he was very hostile… It makes it more difficult.”
When directly asked if it’s “more likely a ‘no’ for Combs,” Trump bluntly replied:
“I would say so.”
Ouch.
Even with that cold shoulder, Diddy’s team says he’s still hopeful.
“He’s a hopeful person,” Westmoreland added.
The Bad Boy Records founder has been behind bars since September, after disturbing allegations surfaced — including claims he coerced women into drug-fueled s_x sessions involving male s_x workers, which he allegedly filmed for personal use.
