Big Brother Naija All Stars finalist, Adekunle Olopade, openly embraced his sapiosexuality in a recent interview with Africa Magic. Familiarly known as Bad Boy Deks, he shared that his unexpected connection with Venita blossomed when she astutely caught onto a joke he playfully threw into the House.
In conversation with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Adekunle expressed that his initial focus wasn’t on forming a relationship within the House, but Venita’s intellectual prowess unexpectedly captivated his heart. Reflecting on his strategy for the season, he admitted to intending more interactions with women compared to his previous stint on the show.
Recounting the moment he noticed Venita’s distinctiveness, Adekunle said, “I noticed Venita in the first week. I threw a joke in the air and she was the only one that caught it. I actually like intelligent women. I was like I’m going to pay extra attention to her. And she was very different from the rest of the housemates. So, I saw an opportunity to get to know her.
“When I was the Head of House, I was the only one upstairs. And I was like I’m not going to sleep alone this time around. So, I took her up.”
Reflecting on the relationship dynamics, he acknowledged that the experience with Venita provided valuable lessons in understanding the intricacies of relationships.
