Ayra Starr Talks About Her Music Career on The ‘Midday Show’

Mavins record new artiste Ayra Starr was on the ‘Midday Show’ and she opened up on her EP. She talked about Don Jazzy, her background and where she see herself few years from now.

Ayra Starr revealed she grew up listening to 2Baba, Wande Coal, Tope Alabi, Beyonce and others. According to her, she’ll like to collaborate with top artiste such as Burna Boy, Billie Eilish, Simi, Rihanna and others. Speaking on the challenges she has faced as a female artiste, she says she is havent experienced much as she is still new in the music industry.

Speaking on how she feels when she’s being compared to Nigerian singe Tems, she says it she honoured to be compared with an amazing musician. In her words, she says :

First of all, I’m a young artist and I just released music two weeks ago so for them to be able to compare me to such an amazing musician, it’s a compliment and I’m really honoured. I love it. Thank you.”
