Big Brother Naija Organizers Announces Date For Season 6 of The Show

Africa’s most anticipated reality show, Big Brother Naija if finally here with a new season.

The anticipated season six of the show will premiere with two opening ceremonies on July 24 and 25, 2021.

Multichoice, the organisers of the show confirmed this in a press conference held on Monday July 19, 2021.

Multichoice also revealed that the show will no longer support voting by SMS as fans will now be able to vote for their housemate on the official website and application for free, in order to allow more inclusive participation for viewers and fans outside.

Showmax will offer exclusive access to the show for viewers in diaspora. In line with Covid-19 safety measures, the live shows will adopt the Lockdown season style with no guests.

This year’s season has a whopping sum of N90 million up for grabs for the lucky winner. Recall organizers announced the prize a few months ago, its biggest since the show’s first season.

Season six is said to run for 72 days and will end on the 3rd of October 2021.

This sixth edition of the show will be hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
