Big Brother Naija makes a grand return with an extraordinary “All Stars” edition, featuring a carefully chosen cast of housemates who are beloved by fans from previous seasons.

MultiChoice promises an exhilarating lineup of captivating tasks, unexpected twists, and the return of fan-favourite ‘Ninjas’. This edition will also showcase the iconic pool and grill parties, as well as the renowned Saturday Night Raves.

As Big Brother Naija embarks on another season, fans across sub-Saharan Africa and the United Kingdom will have exclusive, front-row access to all the happenings in the Big Brother house through Africa’s premier streaming service, Showmax. Excitingly, DStv Premium subscribers can enjoy free access to the platform, while Compact Plus and Compact subscribers can access it at half the cost.

BBNaija Season 8 will debut at 7 pm on Africa Magic Showcase (Ch. 151), Africa Magic Urban (Ch. 153), and Africa Magic Family (Ch. 154). The show will continue airing for ten weeks on the dedicated 24-hour Big Brother channels: DStv Ch. 198 and GOtv Ch. 49.

DStv customers who wish to opt out of viewing the show can do so by sending “Smart Card Number [space] BBOUT” to 30333, while GOtv customers can send “IUC Number [space] BBOUT” to 4688. Additionally, customers can activate the parental control feature on their DStv and GOtv decoders to restrict access for viewers under 18 years old. Viewers can also catch every moment of the show by streaming it nationwide on the DStv app.

What you need to know about Big Brother Naija Season 8

  • It’s an all-star edition. So you get to see your favourite housemates from past editions lock horns with each other in this year’s show.
  • The show starts on the 23rd of July and ends on the 1st of October. It will run for 70 days.
  • The winner will go home with an eye-watering sum of One Hundred and Twenty Million Naira (N120,000,000) and other prizes.
  • BBNaija Season 8 will premiere at 7 pm on Africa Magic Showcase (Ch. 151), Africa Magic Urban (Ch 153) and Africa Magic Family (ch 154). The show will continue to air for ten weeks on the 24-hour Big Brother dedicated channels, DStv ch. 198 and GOtv ch. 49.
