In a touching tribute to one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, the street where Adekunle Gold spent his childhood in Lagos has been officially renamed in his honor. Now called “Adekunle Kosoko Street” after his real name, incredible rise from local roots to international fame. Adekunle Gold, known to fans as AG Baby, standing with his family on the very street that shaped him. He, alongside his wife Simi and their little baby Deja, pulled down a cloth to unveil the bright new sign in a special ceremony. Pure, captured into videos now buzzing all over social media. It isn’t every day that a musician gets honored this way, and Adekunle Gold let that go with his emotions. He wrote; “The City That Raised Me Now bears My Name. Thank you Lord for many blessings.”
