Guess what? It’s that special time again for Nollywood’s vibrant star, Laide Bakare. The Yoruba actress has been teasing her big day the whole week, and now she has finally dropped some of those eye-catching pictures on Instagram.
Imagine her strutting in a beautiful red dress, with I am confident and I am glamorous written all over it. Stunner, right? I mean, who would not want to grab attention like that on their birthday?
In her post, Laide gave vent to some self-love. She wished herself a happy birthday, added some prayerful wishes concerning all the good things life could give and withholding nothing. By the way, she disclosed the place to be: Victoria Island. Sounds like fun. She stated, “And it’s officially my Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME AND MY BIRTHDAY MATES. Wishing myself all the good things in life and Beyond. Friday is my birthday party in Victoria Island.”
Not to forget, she had some accolades to show for the past year. In December 2024, she received her Honorary Doctorate Degree in Arts and Humanity from the American University of Peace and Governance, USA. The mother of three was picture-crazy about sharing from that ceremony, which she linked to her love for leadership, governance, and giving back to the community. Now, the name DR. Laide Bakare Official. Nice upgrade, I must say.
