FEИTY beauty owner & music star, Rhianna, has showed love by donating £1.67m (2.1M US Dollar) to the mayor fund in Los Angeles to help victims whom during the COVID-19 case, are affected by domestic violence. She joined forces with Jac Dorsey who is Twitter’s CEO to make it a whopping sum of £3.3M (4.2M US Dollar).

A tweet from Rhianna’s Clara Lionel Foundation says “We’re joining forces with twitter/square CEO”

Domestic violence across the globe has risen since the Corona Virus Pandemic. UN secretary General Antonio Guterres made a tweet on April 6:

[M]any women under lockdown for #COVID19 face violence where they should be safest: in their own homes. I urge all governments to put women’s safety first as they respond to the pandemic.”
