Designer Tia Adeola made a striking return to her roots this past weekend with the debut of her new collection, From Lagos With Love, showcased at GTCO Fashion Weekend in Lagos.
Following her tenth anniversary collection, From Lagos With Love serves as both a homecoming and a continuation of her evolving story, offering a heartfelt tribute to the city that shaped her creative identity.
“It’s a love letter to the city that raised me as a little girl. Lagos pulses with contradiction, beauty, and rhythm. This season, I wanted to design for the Lagos girl and the Lagos guy, people who move through heat, hustle, and heart with effortless grace,” Adeola shared.

The collection reimagines her signature elements, romantic ruffles, fluid draping, and sultry silhouettes through the richness of her heritage. Cowrie shell beadwork appears throughout as both ornament and armor. Raffia straw introduces texture and movement, while screen-printed Ankara on satin bridges tradition and modern elegance.
This season also marks Adeola’s expansion into menswear, featuring breathable linens, football-inspired jerseys, and relaxed button-down shirts adorned with the Tia Adeola insignia. Each piece is designed with Lagos energy in mind, capturing the rhythm of a city where even the air feels alive.
The showcase drew a vibrant crowd of fashion and cultural tastemakers who gathered to celebrate her long-awaited return. Guests, including Priscilla Ojo, Diana Eneje, Smada, and other Lagos creatives, arrived dressed in Tia Adeola, bringing her vision to life beyond the runway.
The evening concluded with an intimate after-party at Mood Lagos, where friends, collaborators, and supporters danced late into the night, closing out a collection rooted in love, heritage, and the spirit of Lagos.
