While Melanin Is Popping, Black is Beautiful, Black is King!

Most ladies don’t feel proud of their skin color, so they opt-in for bleaching creams. They feel they are not beautiful enough and no one will easily approach them as they are ugly. Skin bleaching not only happens in Africa, it’s also happening in Southeast Asia.

Everyone want to look beautiful at all cost, succumbing to peer pressure they ignore their own confidence. The fact where a woman have to be ashamed of her dark skin should be tagged as “rubbish.” Black means power and Black is Beautiful.

You should never be shy of your color. You were created that way. People’s opinion don’t matter at all and you matter a lot. “That bubble of doubt within? It’s time to stick a pin in it. And wear your dark and lovely face with a grin on it.” ― Princess Latifah (Pretty For a Dark Skin?)

“I cannot run away from who I am and my complexion or the larger society, and how they may view that.”

Lupita Nyong’o

“I am dripping melanin and honey. I am black without apology.”
