Wizkid’s “Piece of My Heart” Sets New Spotify Nigeria Record with Over 1 Million Streams In A Day

Wizkid has set a new record on Spotify Nigeria with his latest single, “Piece of My Heart,” featuring American R&B artist Brent Faiyaz.

The song achieved 1.016 million streams in just one day, making it the first track to surpass the 1 million stream mark on the platform in Nigeria.

This milestone also made Nigeria the 22nd country where a song has reached over 1 million streams on the Spotify Chart in a single day.

Globally, “Piece of My Heart” debuted at number 90 on the Global Spotify Chart with 1.7 million streams and secured 2.27 million streams worldwide on its first day.

This marks the biggest streaming debut for a song by an African artist in Spotify’s history.

Wizkid also recently announced the release date for his upcoming album, Morayo, giving fans more to look forward to.
